Knights of Columbus
Council #1820 is true to its founding principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. The Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Fr Michael J McGivney, Assistant Pastor of St Mary’s Church in New Haven, Connecticut. Council 1820 is comprised of men from both St Joseph and St Mary Parishes. Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month in the Council Chambers located in the St Mary Church gymnasium. Louis Millette serves as Grand Knight.
Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree Assembly #0635 is a fraternal organization based on the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. These Catholic men participate in parish liturgical celebrations for major Holy Days and special church functions. Meetings are held the first Monday of the month in St Joseph Parish church hall. Three local parishes, All Saints (Charlestown/North Walpole), St Joseph (Claremont) and St Mary (Claremont) comprise the Fourth Degree Assembly. Louis Millette serves as The Faithful Navigator.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas, founded for religious, charitable, and educational purposes, was established in 1903 by the Knights of Columbus. Since 1903, Catholic Daughters of the Americas has grown into the largest organization of Catholic women. Under the patronage of the Blessed Mother, they are united by their faith in Jesus Christ and their devotions to the Church and the Holy See. On June 24th, 1924, Court Virgil H. Barber #892 was instituted in Claremont, NH comprised of members from both St Joseph and St Mary Parishes. Meetings are held in St Joseph Parish church hall on the third Tuesday of the month. LizaMarie Kupp serves as Court Regent.
